My car has like a low down roar and the more gas you give it the more the roar comes out and then when you let off of the gas ahh i love it. I think i got a pretty good combo for exhast but i am going to stick with what i have but i would really like to try out some borla. Does anyone know how to tell which flowmasters you have? Like you know 40's or 50's for the series

i would like to know the same thing, they came with the car and have no idea, if they are 3 chamber then i want to change to 2. but the borla turbo mufflers are around a hundred a piece , but then the system is around 600$ very wierd

I like the sound of Borla on my stang. If you look around on the net or in 5.0 or MM&FF mags you might find them cheaper. I got mine for like 250-275. It's been a while but I'm sure there's a deal out there.

If you want to shell out the cash, Borla XR-1 racing mufflers are among the best flowing mufflers anywhere. They'll blow most others out of the water for performance, and will make about a .15 time difference in the quarter mile over chambered mufflers according to an article I read. They are pretty expensive though, but you get what you pay for.
