What is 'fox' or what does it stand for?

it stands for "foxbody" its the platform 79-93 mustangs are built on

I just love my car.
I don't like not knowing anything about it. There was a time when taking care of the car was not my job. Now that I have THIS car I feel like I better protect it! (the mom in me I suppose) I won't let my boy friend work on it. Not only that, I wouldn't want mustang owners to think such a nice car is wasted on an owner like me. lol
