This might sound like a dumb question but, about how much do you think the insurance will be for a 16 year old and a 5.0 mustang?

It's going to vary from state to state and from person to person. Going to be REALLY hard to even give a ballpark figure because it can widely vary. But it's safe to say that it's going to be "a lot"

Your ebst bet...why not just take the VIN of a vehicle you are interested in...or the VIN from a similar vehicle that you find on eBay (they usually list VINs there.) Then just use that info to check online sources like progressive, geico, etc.

Will probably be cheaper to have your parents register and insure it and just add you as a driver. Still not cheap, but better than doing it yourself (usually.)

the quote for me was 120/month so i registered it in my grandma's name and it went down to 30/month! I am 20 with no tickets or wrecks

When I was 17 my 89 gt was about 100 per month, that was in my parents name. Now i'm 26 and married and my 94 gt is about 25 per month. It helps that I have a clean record

im 18 and i pay 800 for 6 months for 3 cars. i guess thats not too bad.

17 here, and i pay about 250 a month.

i'm 16 and it's around 70 a month. But the car is in my moms name so i guess that probably helped alot.

i'm 19 and pay 200 a month, but thats full coverage cuz its on a loan. But thats also in my moms name, I got quoted 400 a month in my name. But my driving record isnt the greatest either.
