Default old junk

i'm building a 68 fback and i am gonna use late model drive train. i'm not sure about the rearend. should i swap it out or what?

i want two tires pulling

well let's see I would keep the 9" if that what's in it....I would not opt for the transmission though stay with a c-4 or a tremec 5 speed and a alum driveshift....the 5.0 with look nice under the hood though

Agree with vfast about keeping the 9' rear end if that's what it already has. you can always get a posi differential to install in it if it doesn't have one already.
