quick ? on gears

Default quick ? on gears
i have an 88 with im not sure what gears, i beleive they are from a junkyard. im on such a tight budget i don't even money to prop the stang up on to rotate the d/s. so would would anyone be able to tell me what gears i have. in overdrive at 80mph im at about 1900rpms. and in drive im at almost 3000 rpms. its a rebuilt aod tranee

definentally 2.73s. Thats what i have in my car and im at the same rpms as you. Next month ill have my 4.10s installed though so ill be much happier

how bout these? Im doin 65 and its at 2k rpm's...anyone have a clue what gears I would have. 88 mustang gt convertible. standard tranny. thanks.

my car is at 2100 rpms at 60 and 2520 at 70 (in overdrive) so probably a little lower than 4.10...maybe 3.90 or 3.73's
