Need HELP now!!!!
Ok, I still cant figure out what is wrong with my stang. It is a 94 GT vert. I have replaced the fuel filter, Cap, Rotor, Coil, plugs, Wires,K&N filter, put seafoam in it, Fuel system cleaner, heet, replaced upper and lower intake gaskets, cleaned the egr, new coolent temp sensor, reset the computer, and the fuel pressure at idel is between 32 and 34. The car has no torque or hp. Im getting the code that both banks are running lean and the egr is staying closed. I try replacing the egr sensor and still got the code so i took it back. I cant figure it out the car is timed perfectly at 10 degrees. that car kind of has a rough idel like it has a cam in it. the owner before me had the tranny and a cobra short block put in it. cam is a cobra cam if that matters. I need help, im getting ready to go just light the bitch on fire.
Two things... First, I'm not sure how different that cam is that he put in there, but the 94-95 computers do NOT like changes to the cam... or anything lese for that matter. But a simple tune will take care of that.
But as far as your "lean" codes... looking through your list of things you checked, I don't see the O2 sensors listed. That's a classic symptom of a bad O2 sensor and that may be causing some problems. There should be one on each side (before the cats.)

95Droptop, before you go throwin more parts at it DO A COMPRESSION TEST! Thatll let you know what state the motor is in. Is your check engine light on? If so have you scanned it? Thats a good place to start. Another thing, is it blowin smoke out the tailpipes when it runs? Need a little bit mroe info.
-P.
i have already dont the MAF sorry forgot that one. ya that is the next thing im going to try. i found a guy local that is selling some flowtech headers and a BBK O/R h-pipe for $100. but to do that im going to have to wait until my next pay check which isnt tell the 11th. i think im going to go try to pawn some stuff tommorow to pay for it.
Might as well clean the IAC and TB as well... two quick, easy, and free things you can do.
It may help to be more specific though. You're saying that your car has no torque and no HP. Well we know that can't be true unless it doesn't start. What exactly are your RWHP and TQ numbers? Don't forget that the SN95's are a bit heavier and are known to be a bit sluggish.
