i have a 88 GT and it runs great, but when i realy hammer it i have white smoke roll out the back. another thing it does is when i get off the highway and come to a stop this white smoke starts up again but then goes away...what do you think it is? i know it isnt the head gasket for sure because i have replaced that when i got the car and im not looseing coolant

Might be burning a bit of oil, but that would have a bluish tint to it kindof

coolant burning off your exhaust probably

does it use coolant? check the radiator if it aint full u got a problem somewhere

if it was a head gasket it would smoke all the time

the head gasket is fine and im not loosing any coolant at all

no the exhuast isnt new, and it smokes when i have it to the floor and it happens again when im sitting at a stop light...but only sometimes....what is blow by?
