What kid of heads R These? Thanks
Hey im new to the forum and the stang world. I just got a 95 cobra with 60k on it and am lookin to upgradeing the h/c/i and my dad out of no where is like i have some heads you can use. Im like where did u get them and he said back in 1993-94 when he was walkin into work (fords) some guy had a set of heads he was sellin for the 5.0 (he owned a 87 5.0)he said they were a prototype head that fell off the cart if u get what im sayin... see if you can help me figure out What kind are they? what kind of power can i expect from these heads alone? Thanks for the help

they look like aluminum GT-40X heads, i think those did come out in early 90's
so the story kinda fits.
Get them cleaned up, maybe some new springs, port out the runners a little
and you should get a big improvement
nice heads for a freebee find. those are about $1,000 new
so the story kinda fits.

Will these heads with roller rockers and cam (still havent decided wich cam) outflow my stock cobra intake?

put some new valves and springs with a valvejob and you will have some cheap horsepower.
I believe the cobra intakes are good to 350rwhp.
these heads will add around 40-50hp.

Oh sooo lucky, what a sweet find. You should see if your dad has any other "fallen of the cart" parts. You'll defiinatly see some good gains with a cam and those heads, mightas well put a trickflow intake on too
Dont foget about the dyno tune tho, its a must with a sn95
