For those that have done a cat back system, were you able to do it at home with jackstands? And still get the tailpipes over the rear end?

I installed a 4 piece SLP system by myself and it was pretty easy. Im not sure about MAC because of how it is but I know that already seperated systems are a breeze. A little figiting with getting everything aligned is the hardest part about it.

The install and getting everything lined up only took me like 45 minutes to an hour. It's not that hard.

That's b/c there is no comparison in quality between the 2 systems!!

Are you talking about long tube headers? Its not just be with bad experience... trust me! Also, their "HTS" coating is the worst! My headers look like they are 100 years old after 600 miles! Everything burnt off already and they look like hell. Dont get me wrong, I love the sound but I would have to disagree on the quality of their products. The only thing that I liked from MAC is their ProChamber. Also, im sure the fitment is different beteween your 05+ Stang and a fox body.
I wasn't referring to my '05. I have installed on an '82, '85 and 93. Two thumbs up on all 3 installs IMO.

Yes - as I recall it require just the right combo of angling and turning. Doesn't their current design use a two piece tail to aid in this issue?
