I mashed the gas with about 60 feet on my gears. They whine, but they are motive, so im not worried about it.

i overhaul atleast one differential a week.. whether it be a navigator, cop car, or freinds.... never had one comeback...... just get ur pinion depth, backlash, and ur pretty much set

im not doing the install my self, im having a local shop do it for me. i hope they do a good job, i just moved and i dont know who to trust or what shop to use. I hope i picked a good one. How would i be able to tell if they did the job right?

drive the car at about 50 to 60mph light throttle.... like barely even touching the throttle... let of the gas than again with the throttle.. ur looking for a howling noise

Royal Purple 75w90 is what you want, although i've heard to use conventional gear oil to start with, then change it after 1000 miles or so.

Also, I looked at a FRPP cover and decided to go with a Trick flow rear end cover/girdle... Very high quality, like everything else they make!

So you are saying that i will need to change the gear oil about 1000 miles after the install. Dont you have to have some special tool or pump thing to do that? i dont see how to get the oil in the rear-end. I dont think i would be able to just dump the oil in.
