RE: best blower
The novi 2000 is a great blower. Its mostly used on track cars becasue its a waste on a non-built block. If your block can handle huge amounts of HP, then id go for it. If it can only handle like 500 then buy the 1000.

go to kennebell.net, and there tech articles, i just bought a kb, and last time i checked you cant put on a paxton 1000 on a stock engine and get in the mid 12s, kb looks better, get more power especially down low. but just do research on there site and then look at a novi site and id be surprised if you still want a novi.

the kb kits for 5.0s are VERY different from those for 4.6s. the 5.0 kits are non-intercooled. also the design for the 5.0s is a very old design that has been around for quite some time. when i say its not intercooled i mean you cant buy one from KB at all, you have to fabricate it. you can run chemical intercooling, but this is also quite hard to do. the kits for the 4.6 and the 5.0 are completely different.

also the paxton blowers are VERY good, and would strongly reccomend them. the 2k is good if you are planning on eventually going to a stronger block. if you arent going to take that step, the 1k would be a good choice. either way, the 1k and 2k are very good blowers
