Default 418

does anybody know where I could get some information on how to get my 418 that I'm building to run fuel injected. Or does anybody have any idea what kind of numbers or times I could get out of a 418 with 185 AFR heads and a 24~ duration cam in a foxbody mustang with a 5spd and 4.10's

185s are way to small for a 418. go with at least 205cfm.

what 5spd? i wouldnt put a t5 behind that motor.

4.10's seem pretty low for a torquey motor like a 418.

what info are you looking for spefically?

just looking any info I can find. I know the 185's are a little small but I already have them from a previous motor. I'll try my luck with the T-5 until it breaks then get a TKO. I would just like to know about everybody elses big cube setups.

believe me I've been thru my fair share of T-5's.My last one held up to my 306 with the afr 185's and a 150 shot. just don't want to spend the money on a TKO until I have to.

the t-5 we had behnd the 306 had numerous low twelve passes on it and it's still. fine on the other hand. I've broken the main shaft on the street with a bone stock 88 and 3.73's. This transmission has outlived 2 motors it's a freak
