Well thanks for the help figureing out what kind of aluminum heads i have. Now i need to know the best cam/rocker combo for around $500. I want to make sure it has enough piston to valve clearance. I already orderd my pushrods timing chain and ford racing roller lifters

Also what other mods will be nessary for me to reach high 12's low 13's

I can't tell you what the best are because everybody thinks theirs is always the best. I can tell you that I have the FRPP E-303 cam and their 1.6 roller rockers. This was the combo recommended to my by their tech line when I was putting my combo together. I won't have any dyno numbers until January, but it sure feels potent. FRPP's estimate was 330-340 at the flywheel with my combo. We'll see.

Like wythors said, 'best' vary on who your asking. I using the same heads as you with a B cam and 1.7 cobra rockers. Not sweating the smog regs and it gives me the power band I wanted.

the stage 1 cam will work good with some 1.7's
