RE: could i take him??
do you hook or spin ?
w/ tires yes, w/out tires no way , ls1 cars run strong at the top end, capable of 12's all stock , you need to get him hard out of the hole and hope he can't catch you.

I still don't think that a SN-95 5.0 with gears, full exhaust and a few bolt ons could take an LS1 even if he does hook. He might have a better 60' (if the LS1 isn't running slicks also) but the LS1 will run him down.

you've got to downsize your tb, your actually slowing yourself down 75mm = way to big for your mods, 65mm will do for you, if you do a h/c/i swap then 70mm is fine i know people that still run 65mm but 75mm is pointless, and 3" exhaust is also not helping u. go with 2 1/2. 3" is only if your going to FI and you still dont need it then.

also the stock intake on a 94-95 has an internal EGR, and that is your restriction, not your TB. your stock TB is the exact size of your EGR. a bigger TB does absolutely nothing on a stock 94-95 intake.
