info request
Hey guys. I'm looking into buying a 1985 Mustang GT Cobra, but there are few things I'm not sure about:
1) I did some research and it turns out that the 1985 Mustang GT Cobra in Canada is really just a GT with Cobra tag (it's mechanically identical to American GT). Is this true? It really doesn't deter me from buying it, I just want to know exactly what I'm buying.
2) It has a 5.0L HO with an auto transmission, and according to research (I'm big on research if you haven't already guessed) the auto transmission came only with the 5.0L EFI HO, not the 4V. Is this true, and what are the pros and cons of EFI vs 4V? Also, I'm somewhat of a newbie when it comes to vehicle mechanics, but I really want to learn, so do you guys know of any websites where I can get educated on what EFI/4V is, how it works, etc, and generally anything and everything about 1985 mustang. THANKS!
p.s. I'd love to know about rear ends... that sounds strange. I hear about gears and rear ends, and I have no idea what it's all about. Thanks again.
