Intake Manifold?

Intake Manifold?
I have a carbed 302 that is overheating.
It has a Weiand Stealth 8020 intake manifold. So far I have bypassed the heater core, removed the thermostat, flushed the coolant system and block, and replaced radiator and radiator hoses. After all that is still overheats.
I have some pictures of my cylinder head (driver's side) and the intake manifold for that side. I have also have pics with and without gaskets.
*The gasket WAS facing the right sides for the pictures*
I know nothing about 5.0s, so could someone also tell me what cylinder heads I have? Supposedly they are GT40s, but those are aluminum.
Here is the whole driver's side head

Here is the rear water crossover with gasket on top

Here is the intake manifold with the gasket over it on the corresponding water crossover

RE: if Intake Manifold?
First a car will get hotter most of the time with the t stat out because the coolant circulates too fast and cant cool off. Second we dont know anything about your engine... bored, radiator, fan..etc so its tough to help you will not a lot of info. links no workie

RE: if Intake Manifold?
The links are working now, but the heads are hard to identify. And i thought gt40's were iron, in your thread is sounds like you think they're aluminum. Are tehre any numbers on the heads, that would help

Sorry, I meant that I thought GT40s were aluminum, mine appear to be iron, but I could be wrong

RE: if Intake Manifold?
I see in the 3rd pic you are holding the gasket upside down??
who put the heads on? are you sure the head-gasket is in the correct possision?
If not it could block water jacket? No flow = hot motor.

RE: Intake Manifold?
ok I was thinking of the head gasket. I have put them on upside down and took forever to find out why it got hot >>>> I call it a brain fa*t<<< cause i know better and f***ed up anyway.
