Default suspension

I was looking at Suspension today and I want to do an upgrade all out but what are the most vital things to upgrade. What I'm going for right now is Full Length Subframe Connectors, Shocks and Struts, Rear Upper and Lower Control Arms? What else is a necessity and will give me a performance boost, and what recommendations on brands do you guys have especially for the shocks and struts. Thanks.

shocks/struts: tokico illuminas, strange 10 ways, bilstein.

subframes & U/LCA" MM, steeda, recently discovered a company called UPR who seems to have great stuff for cheap.

what about springs ? ...i'd go with H&R.

there's lots of good brands, those would be my choice though.

depending how low you drop it, some CC plates might be a good idea.

Yeah, I bought the car lowered, it has Eibach Lowering Springs, and it looks like about a 1.5 inch drop, not for sure though.

Eibachs are good, what color are they ? ...if they're black it's the pro springs, you don't really need CC plates for those... sportlines are red, they are considerably lower and i would think CC plates would be needed to get the alignment right.

I just put on a set of strange 10 way adj shocks and I like them. Have you ever considered running a tubular front suspension with coil overs? D&D makes a pretty good kit for like $500 bucks shipped on ebay from this one guy who always sells them. The kit comes with a tubular k member, tubular a arms and a front coil over kit. QA1, MM, etc. also makes this kit but is a little bit more expensive. With the front coil overs you will have tons of adjustbility AND you will shed tons of weight off your front end and gain tons of clearance room. Not to mention is looks 10x's better.

Being down in the suspension, wouldn't strengthening the torque boxes be a good idea? Or is that only for high HP track cars?

D&D front suspension kit on eBay The total comes to $634.93 shipped. Sounds very tempting.

I went with Tokico Illumina 5 way struts/shocks, Maximum Motorsport Control arms, and Kenny Brown Subframe Connectors. So far no complaints
