pulleys + boosted timing will help you feel a diff, ac delete wont make you feel a diff, and the shift kit its going to feel diff and youll notice a diff even more if you put a bigger stall.

actually your incorrect, the shift kit is going to give the biggest diff in feel. if he was a 5 speed it would be the timing then, but atm he cant control his shift points, when that shift kit goes in hes going to notice a big diff because in aod, when you stomp it from a dead stop in 1st it shifts at like 5500 but in like 2nd it shifts at like 4k.

yea, of course your going to feel a diff, im saying the mods he listed, the most noticeable is going to be the shift kit, i useto have an 88 gt that was aod, i dont remem when the 2nd gear shifted, i believe it was like 4,000 maybe 3,500. i know it doesnt hold 2nd gear at all and with a shift kit, itll allow him to hold his rpms. when i had my 88 gt, it was bonestock except for 65mm tb, 65mm egr spacer, smog pump removed, underdrive pulleys, mac cai, o/r h-pipe, flowmaster catback

i raced my friend who had an 88 gt that was a 5 speed, his was bored to a 306, 373 rear end gears, bigger tb & egr, magnaflow dumps, o/r h-pipe, frpp shorty headers & a small cam.

we raced 4 times, first 2 i won, 2nd 2 he won, first 2 he couldnt hook though. and the only gear he really ever pulled on me was 2nd gear because i couldnt hold the rpms.

You will feel the shift kit more than anything because it jerks you back in your seat when it shifts into 2nd.
