Track Heat or Twisted Wedge

Track Heat or Twisted Wedge
I wanted to see what people thought about picking one over the other.
I don't have to worry about smog/emissions and I was also told to buy a pushrod adjustable checker that you set at 6 3/4 and from there you'd determine what length pushrod to buy. Does this ring a bell or does anyone know what length pushrod I'd need or is that something that you figure out after or during the installation?
Thanks

RE: Track Heat or Twisted Wedge
TH or TW what? Intake? Heads? Top end kit? I'm going to assume it's either intake, as they don't make "track heat" heads or a "twisted wedge" top end kit.
Either way, depends on your setup. I (when buying my top end) was going to choose the street heat kit, but after talking with a TFS tech was actually advised to go w/ the track heat, as it would be more compatible with the higher rpm's of my 5spd and 3.73's

may be a mix & match, but they do call it the Twisted Wedge top end kit

RE: Track Heat or Twisted Wedge
They do make Track Heat Heads...see below
http://www.trickflow.com/product/for..._fordheads.asp
Basically they are the same as Twisted Wedge heads but they are not emissions legal...Also they have 600 lift springs...everything else is basically the same.....
Call Trick Flow if you have additional comparison questions..they helped me out when I called.

RE: Track Heat or Twisted Wedge
I'm going with the Twisted Wedge Heads since I do have my smog pump/air filter, etc. and they do have an upgraded lift spring package, so they'd in essence be the same as the Track Heat heads. I don't go to the track a lot, so I'd think the TW heads should be a good fit.
I did call TF and they were extremely helpful. nmerrill, what did you have to do with the pushrods when you had the heads installed. Did you have to get a different length or replacement pushrods over what was stock? I was told to buy the pushrods adjustable checker, set the length at 6 3/4 and from there you'd be able to determine what needs to be done with the pushrods.
