if you were paying attention you would notice that i never said it was a steering box, as for a pittman arm i thought that was the steering shaft, yes i aligned it using a string from wheel to wheel so i could make it to the garage and it was aligned there and had absolutey no affect ......its hard to expalin on the computer but it is, for lack of a better term, all over the road, i mean when you go into a turn you have to constantly correct the wheel, and when you hit a bump the car swerves side to side and when you go over like 50 its hard to keep the wheel straight, and sometimes it just pulls to the right for no reason...no the car was not wrecked

sounds like balljoints. jack the car underneath the lower control arm and pry up from under the tire with a bar. i bet you got ball joint probs.

are the rack bolts tight? did you overtighten and crack the rack?

no, i used the correct torque specs for every bolt and nut, i've been thinking that maybe advanced has their part numbers mixed up and gave me a rack with a different pressure rating or even a pump for that matter, and i've had some one tell me i need to bleed my lines and get the air bubbles out, but idk it seems like everything i think of is wrong

air bubbles wouldn't cause it do drift that much and certainly wouldn't make your wheel hit the a-arm. you have something loose. something is broken, or misaligned, or loose.
