Default Fuel Inj or Carb

I have had a few mustangs in my life and I've always got rid of the fuel injection to slap on a carb. I guess the purpose of this thread is to kinda see what you guys think about it and why. I guess I like a carb so much because of the simplicity and gains you get for alot less $.

what are your plans with the car? forced induction tends to be easier with fuel injection as opposed to a draw through/blow through setup. also some people like it for the DD, not having to adjust the carb(people have different opinions on this, dont know what your personal experience is). on the other hand its usually more expensive. the tuneability is pretty crazy though, but then again you are trading it for simplicity. if you're going forced induction i would reccomend it, but other than that if you're big on carbs, go w/ the carb

FI has more potential to make power and nessesary for a DD.

For a straight drag car or race car I would go Carb just cuz its simple and easy to maintain. And is only used suring races.

Daily Driver....k? (k means okay!)

i agree that FI is much better for daily driving and changes in temp... carb has its benefits as well, simpler to dial in at a certain temp and maximize power for a given condition versus having a range of conditions that are adjusted to by the FI system... i like carb cause it's old school! [8D]
