those "injector cleaners" are simply high octane fuel, they have no merit to acrually clean out a FI, read up on this article and that website on FI, its a pretty good read...

well... look at it this way, at least you know the FI cleaner isn't a $2.99 miracle like every other joe blow who puts a bottle in w/ every tank! You can always upgrade to 24's and lower the duty cycle....

a larger fuel injector will have the capacity to put more fuel into the combustion chamber when more air is available, for applications with boost (turbo, supercharger) so that the Air to Fuel ratio is consistant and desireable. You fuel injectors have a duty cycle, in other words they are not on like a garden hose, they spray then stop then spray then stop, the most you want to have them running is at 85% of capacity. So when more air is added and the injectors cannot produce the car may run "lean" meaning more air than fuel for the desired tune, or on the flipside "rich" is when theres more fuel that air! If you upgrade the injectors/pump/adjustable fuel regulator and liquid guage you can dial in your air to fuel ratio to maximize boost and motor performance, but for a stock application, its not neccesary, but if you get a head/cam/intake combo the 24's would be handy! The last two issues of Muscular Mustangs and Fast Fords had very detailed good articles on this topic... it is much more complicated than the lil i touched on here....
