Want to see what will be going into my 5.0???
Im big into stereo and i think i just might have gone a little over board, i just got these today...
this was the box it was shipped in, pretty beefy. Its made out of MDF, and the sub was screwed into the box tightly, and sealed on the top with a cover plate.
I got two of these beautys
They are 19Ov.2's by Elemental Design www.edesignaduio.com if your interested. These subs are of amazing quality. Even though they are large subs they will still be very accurate and tight. They sound amazing for their size. i heard them in a 5.25 cubic feet box and on a Nine.1 eD amp (1200 watts) before i bought them. The guy i bought them from said with his setup they were hitting 145 and sounding perfect the whole time! these things really are amazing! if your interested in car audio, i HIGHLY sugest looking Elemental Design up, you WILL NOT be disappointed!
with the sub in the box it weighed 70 lbs.
The sub alone weights 36 lbs.
I plan on puttin them in a sealed box, and have a 2400 watt concept amp on them. Should be loud enough for now.
So what do you think?? Questions? Comments?

lol there was a sub and amp in my car when i bought it, first week that thing got yanked out. it has a really nice deck in it 2, new speakers all around, but guess what? i never listen to music or anything in my car. 
my music is a 306 w/ bbk shorties, and flows dumped before the axle

im 17 and i cannot stand loud music in a car, especially the stang when i go drivin in it the radio is off. I dont even have a head unit! bonneeee stock casette player!

I took every bit of stereo equiment out of my car, speakers and all. Just another way to save weight. I added the stereo delete panel like what comes in the 93 Cobra R. Dont get me wrong, I love music but its just not a concern when it comes to cruzing in my mustang. If I want to listen to music bad enough I can bring my Ipod.

WTF I took all the stereo stuff outta my car, not even the stock deck, the sound of that 5.0 torqued up is music enough to my ears. My Grand Prix on the other hand... I have 5 12's in it...
