You have to get special headers made for the GT40Ps because of the different plug location.

Dont think there are long tubes that will work without modification. There are a specific gt40P header made for those heads. The closest fitting longetube, i think, is the bbk LT's, but i think they still need to be modified a bit. Good luck, but id stick with shorites unless your over 500 HP, and theres prolly no way with P heads, unless your blown a huge amount.

The P and the 40s are different. The P's have a different plug angle, its almos strait out, instead of in at an angle. They also make different compression, and overall the P's outflow the 40's.

thanks, mine are just about strait out, i bought this car with the stuff already on its got a pretty good size cam just not for sure what kind.
when i had the heads off the pistons looked real good had hardly any carbon on them, they where 4 valve relife i dont really know what came stock in it.
what kind of injecters can i put in it, i belive one is stickin it has a 70 or 75 mass air but i have heard people sy that the mass air has to be tuned for the injectors
thanks

What color injectors are in it ? 24#ers wouldnt hurt, but might not be necessary. Those are prolly stock pistons, i believe the stock pistons have 4 notches in them, not positive tho....
And yes, you have to get a different MAF to match the injectors. Stock is 19#ers, so if you want to upgrade to 24#ers you'd need a different maf calibrated for 24#ers.
