Default changing heads

talk to some guy and they all say that my 2.055I valve procomp head is way to much for my motor and cam and that i also need to change the in take from victor jr to a TORKER II and go to a 3500 to 3800 stalll converter

so this is what i was thinking

60c 190 with 2.02I and 160E heads

Edge Couston 3500 to 3800

TORKER II in take

What do yall think ?

Instead of doing all of that, why not just add some forced induction? That should take care of the problem.

Yeah, you can definately find superchargers for carbed applications. But if you added any large amount of boost you would be putting a stock block at risk. Most people say 450 - 500 RWHP and you should be okay. Do you know what your RWHP is? On average, people tend to gain 10 RWHP per pound of boost. You can use that figure to figure out how far you are pushing the envelope.

Here's a link to a site that shows you how to install a Paxton Supercharger on a carbed engine.

I would stay with what you have sounds like your motor is set up pretty good to make that power out of a 306.
