I just saw it was bored over and was thinking 306 I cant see how you are not spinning the tires off the line with 471 horsepower. What is the tranny an auto, I would just be worryed you would split the block with any boost added.

so will that hurt?
10:1 is up there, but it won't really hurt. Of couse, if you can drop the compression some that would help you by letting you run more boost.

then yeah switching over your top end with some matched parts should move your power down the rpm range pretty good. Remember you probally should switch out your cam also when doing that so it matches up to the rest, I would go custom cam also trust me jay will set you up.

depnding on which s/c u get it may not help low end... ull what a roots type for low end... twin screw would work too... not a centrifugul tho thots more top end i believe

Yeah man, throw a huge twin screw on top of there. Those things are awesome!! I dont know exactly how they work but i think you just bolt your carb to the top of the blower
