Default cheap sercurity

does anyone have an idea of something on the cheap side that I can use to help my car not get stolen like a cut off for something. Like is there a wire I can put a switch on under my dash or something that a thief wouldn't notice. I am thinking about this because many cars have been stolen in my area lately.

Get the inline switch to the ignition, the fuel pump, coil, whatever. Anything will help, but bottom line is, if they really want it, they are going to get it. There is nothing I hate more than a thief.[:@]

thief's are some of the worst people ever. So should I be able to just get a switch from radioshack or something mount it under my dash and tie it into the ignition?
