Since it has got cold my driver side eletric door lock has stopped working. My passanger lock still works with the driver side button and Im not sure where I should start to look for the problem. Any help is appreciated.

 

Sounds like the actuator. Check our sponsors, and if nothing else, pick up this months 5.0 Mustang, in the front of the mag, there is a kit that sells everything you need to fix both doors for 60 bucks.

 

+1 on actuator, hope you have small hands they are a bitch to reach if you have big arms or hands... lol

Just take out two screws under the armrest, one in the door handle bezel, two for the switches one for the corner piece, and maybe a few more I cant remember. Pop the panel off and you will see it. It looks like this...



You can get a new one for like 23 shipped on ebay.
