Don't mess with a shift kit, save your money for a different valve body or a new (aftermarket) tranny.

I have a B&M transpack which is ok, butI was thinking of upgrading to an PA or a Lentech valvebody

I suppose technically, you could but it would be pointless. The valvebody will do everything the shiftkit can do and then some.

Installing a nice valvebody and then installing a shift kit is like taking your old tire with a nail in it, removing the nail, buying a patch kit, installing a brand new tire, and then patching the new tire.
