considering your going all edelbrock upper, consider an edelbrock cam, i like the looks of #EDL3722 for your particular combo.

I like where you are going with that cam matt! How about porting, polishing, or a valve job? Should I do any of these on performer heads or is it gona be too much flow for my car? Also what about porting the intake? Should I do just the lower, or is it worth it to do the upper as well? Or should I just leave em both alone? I have actually wondered why so few go with edelbrock as well, but no matter the less the better for me.

you could port and polish if you wanted too, but you wouldn't see much difference unless you went to a little bigger cam. i think just slapping it all together should be fine.

Ok, I have heard giving a little port to the lower helps alot in may intakes is this not gonna be very true with the performer intake for my setup? Thanx for the suggestions. I do really like that cam though.

a little port wouldn't hurt, never does. more air is always good, but if your lift and duration isn't that high, you won't see much out of it.

Check out my sig. I recommend getting a custom dyno tune afterwards for another 20-30 hp at the wheels. I like mine. Sounds pretty bad *** with long tubes and flowmasters just at idle.
