Default tune up

im looking to do a tune up in my car. what parts do you guys recomend for the tune up. what size wires and what kind of plugs and other good parts for the tune up that i will need. does summit make a kit i can use to work with my 302.

On a tune up all you need is spark plugs, wires, and distributor cap. Maybe some O2 sensors.. I would stick with Motorcraft with the plugs (bosch's plugs are smaller then motorcraft) . The wires... i'd say either motorcraft, taylor or MSD... same with the cap... O2 sensors go with either motorcraft or bosch.

Also you could put some good oil in it..... Mobil 1 and a good filter K&N, Hastings...

Dont use fram,puralotor,stp..etc.

Change the coolant.
Change the air filter.
Clean the throttle body plate.
Run a fuel system cleaner through your next full tank.

ok thanks for the info. do you recomend motorcraft platinums. . i already have knn air filter so i should just clean it. i might need to get the fuel injectors proffesionally cleaned and im going to get a new fuel filter. any recomendations on the fuel filter brand.

oh yeah i forgot tthe rotor and the pcv valve, and fuel filter, and the egr valve

I have Accel wires, arent they pretty good? They came on my car when i bought it and ive never really heard anything good or bad about accel.
