so the tool comes with the kit thats good It looks like a may be able to do it. One other thing I will have to do it in my driveway what is the best way to lift the car ramps, or jackstands. And how heavy is the trans can it be lifted out of the way by hand?

I would use jack stands, go up as high as you can, if you can use a set at the front and the rear it would be best,( lift the complete car, it makes it easier, the more room the better), the tranny should way aroud 100 to 150, I think. Let me know if I am wrong though.

Put the car up on jack stands as high as you can get it. The trans is about 70 lbs I guess. I can lift it by hand no problem. If you cant bench press 70 lbs then support it with a jack and balance while a helper lowers the jack.
If you only have two jack stands ramps will be fine on one end.
If you use the ramps put them up front and the stands on the rear axle so you can turn the drive shaft.

I suppose I will get someone to give me a hand with a jack to lower the trans. I can bench 70 lbs but im not a fan of droping that much weight on my chest.

I would suggest draining the fluid (before removing drive shaft) so it don't spill out of the tail shaft. You have to at least remove the shifter handle but it is only a few more bolts to pull off the shifter assembly and you can refill the trans through there.
I used mobil 1 synthetic atf in my t5 when I did my clutch. It will take almost 3 qts.
There is a level plug on the trans above the drain plug on the right side of the trans. Fill it through the top of the trans/shifter hole with the level plug out till it spills out of the hole.

Is it possible to just stick a yoke in the tranny?

Yes, but I am not sure if the shaft will stay in. try to pull the tranny out as straight as possible to make sure it does not leak out of the tail end.

You can get a tail shaft plug from the auto parts store or drain it and wrap a rag around it because it will still drip.
When was the last time the trans fluid was changed? For $17. just change it or if you want to be cheap dont buy syenthetic and use regular atf.

when you take off the original pressure plate, make sure you take note of which way the clutch disc is facing. make sure you put the new one in the same way.
