My brother just called me, he works at a car dealer and drives the cars and he says he has a RSX to run me with, i dont know if its a Type S or not but if it is i know i will get my *** kicked.

I have a 95 5.0 with just a CAI on it

i have a stage 1 clutch and underdrive pulleys in my garage waiting to be put on though.

who will win? im pretty sure if its a type s its stock. dont they run like a little lower than the 5.0?

The S stands for sport, it comes in a 6spd version with close gearing. Theyre pretty sluggish off the line so if you were to get an advantage anywhere, thats where it would need to be. But when that v-tec kicks in watch out they REALLY come alive then. I cant remeber what the 1/4 mi. time is for the RSX, I would imagine it would be in the 14's though. Its a light little car with 200 hp, so it CANT be all that slow.

Yeah they are really fast cars. Atleast IMO.

if u powershift u could probably get him good otherwise im sure it will only be 1-2 car race with you as the winner

They are slow. My friend beat onme in his 04 Dodge Ram 1500 hemi. He ran a 15.5 stock and then he put a cip in it. He beat it after he put the chip in.

well..

my clutch wont grab my gears anymore..which is my fault i didnt let it break in when i first got it! It doesnt slip but it wont let me grab 2nd anymore at all so i dont even try. I just throw it in there fast and let off the clutch and slam the gas without trying to grab it.

My car isnt running the best it could, thats why all the stuff is in my garage waiting to be installed. Not mentioning im waiting for my tailshaft seal and bushing to come in the mail so i can get everything fixed.

well im out to go to his job to get this done! ill let you all know what the outcome was!

haha you think that thing can beat you? only in handling not in speed my friend had a type s and i stomped him but man could that thing take turns

i raced my buddies RSX type S that had some bolt ons on it and beat it, we raced from a dig and i pulled away untill 3rd gear then he just kept up with me. I think you could take him, my car only has an exuast and a CAI with 2.73's in the axle and i beat him. Best of luck!
