Default 24 # injectors gas mileage

how much of a cut in gas mileage do you take when switching to 24 # injectors? i get 21-23 mpg in my 5.0, and average 305-320 miles per tank, does anyone have any numbers or experience? thanks

Neither your gas mileage nor performance will change unless your running lean right now from fuel starvage

If you keep your foot out of it nothing will change. Man does fox bodies have different tanks then the SN-95's because I get about 190 per tank.

i have the stock 19# injectors, why am i only getting about 14 MPG / 200 if im lucky per tank??? nothing besides intake and exhaust are done to my car. Could bad/old injectors be at fault??? been thinking bout going to 24 lb injectors anyways, would this solve anything possible. Or what other lil sensors/valves or anything could effect this so i know what to look for?

When was the last time that it was tuned up? That could be a major factor. I was getting horible gas mileage and I tuned it up, so now I only get bad gas mileage! LOL...

so it only changes when your on the pedal hard? i mean is it a lot more gas it sprays?so what driving normally doesnt change anything? i dont know that just doesnt make sense to me, maybe its because i dont know exactly how injectors work. well anyway any other responses would be great, and i f-that dude if i was getting 190 to a tank i would sell my v-8 and go for a 4cyl turbo, that is way too much gas money!

i dont really know, my car has driven like that since i bought it. try some injector cleaners they always pick up a few mpg for me. you could by one of those air tornadoes it says garaunteed mpg. are you sure you dont already have upgraded injectors, did you check the color coding?dont stay on the gas so much, drive at a lower rpm, are you sure you dont have high gears, that will also kill your mpg. also bad 02 sensors might cause this, clean your MaF screen and or air filter, check spark plugs. and im sure if you had a faulty injector your engine would let you know. but can anyone answer my questions about the 24's?
