is it worth it?

whats the difference between that and BBK?

why does one tube look smaller in diameter than the other?

a cold air kit is a cold air kit. one thing to keep in mind is that it still uses the stock maf which is still going to kill hp. the bbk probably comes with a name brand filter too.....havent looked though

well its cheap and its better than stock, especially for $35 but its no where near as good as a plastic CAI would be.

Is that because of the heat transfer? Speaking of plastic being better then metal?

its just as good. go for it. the air isnt in the CAI long enough for heat transfer to make any difference.

something you have to think about too is that air flows smoother over metal than it does with plastic

Oh, and the upper tube that goes from the maf to the throttle body is supposed to be smaller. If you want to compare, go to my cardomain site and there is a pic of the intake i bought from ebay.
