Default Gauge Faces - Whats involved w/ installation

I have seen the new gauge faces you can buy. What is involved with changing them out? Do the needles come off the gauges easily? How difficult is it? Also, what is involved with changing the instrument panel front clear glass/plastic? Again, difficulty? Thanks in advance.

On the fox body cars its easy. Dont know about the sn95 never done one. Just be careful with the needles they bend easy and are easy to destroy.

Sorry, I guess I should have said it is a '92 lx. You mentioned the needles, thats a main concern. Do the pull needles straight out or what? How do you get them off and the face plate? Are there just screws? Thanks

The needles pull straight off, but do not lose the little screws that hold the original face plate down. It is glued as well, but you will need to put the screws back so the needles will not rub the new face and get stuck. My temp gauge has not worked since I replaced mine, so now I have aftermarket gauges as well. Get a manual and follow the instructions, takes about 15 minutes to take apart the first time. Also be careful with the switches on either side of the bezel, they can break easily and are a trick to get out.

Huh? I just bought a white face gauge kit for my car and the instructions are very generic BUT they make note in bold letter to NOT take off the needles? I haven't taken anything apart yet but I don't know if that means the white face slide on over the existing faces or something like that??

How do you install new gauges without taking off the needle?
