Cause it would seem to me with the problems mentioned it might not run but if you have seen it run and it does well i dont' think i would give to much thought to it.

Damn, thats a good lookin fox. But that lift does seem kindof high, i would def. think it would have PTV (piston to valve clearance) isues, especially on a stock bottom end. And it has stock heads ? Or did i miss something. There really wouldnt be a point in a cam with that much lift on stock heads.....Everything else seems good tho, i'd definatly ask if it runs, haha. And make sure to ask why he is selling it.

That is by far the best looking aero fox I have seen in a long time. I hope it works out for you. I noticed that it even has the 5-Lug conversion. I would ask how that was done. I hope it runs as good as it looks.

ok well i called the guy selling the car, and asked him a few questions.

The car does have GT-40 heads on it, actual GT-40 heads not off of a truck or something, and the valve train was put in them when they were put on and all that stuff.

The car does run real good, no PTVC problems he says. he said he actually had 1.6 RR on it and read around a bit and then put 1.7's on it and he said it really woke the car up.

He actually said that the car gets like 17-18 mpg in the city when ur nice to it, and high 20's on the highway! and he said he sware up and down, promised to god and everything! lol

He said its actually got the 235 1st gear in it, and he said that he thinks it should prolly have the 295 1st gear to match better with the 3.73's... mabye, hopefully i understood that correctly.

It has posi-trac. The rear axels are ranger axels, and the fronts are 94-95 spindles, with cobra brakes and stuff.

the suspention has been completely redone. says it handles real good.

He said he bought the car as like a shell for $1,900 and has done all the work to it himself, not sure if he painted it but i guess he did all the suspension and motor and interior work to it. he seems to be a pretty big car guy and has a few other cars.

He says there are no problems with the car and i asked if he would be confident enough to drive the car the 600 mile trac from his place to springfield, and he said he would do it with out a dought. he drove the car 4 hours to texas for a car show which he won at and drove it there and back and it did just fine, no problems.

so with all this said... what do you think?? also what do you think the car is worth??

I think you mean 3.35 first gear, not 2.35....

that would make more sense!

anyway, looks great, if you can get it for a good price... id say go for it!
