My friend had a pin on hood on his Monte Carlo. It was a major pain to take off and it took 2 people.
Then there was the issue of where to put it once it was off.

would rockin a 4inch cobra r hood be a no go on a stock stang., its stock for now, but wont be... prob will be a high 12 car when im done... for now...

Its all up to you and what you like bro. If you are gonna be getting it into the 12s I dont think it has to already be fast for you to start getting it ready to look fast, and be preparing for the mods you will be doing.

dude go for it. if you want a hood go for it, i think it would look sweet. just go in whatever order you want. so whats your future mods and when do you want it to be in the 12's?

eibach drag springs
steeda hardcore rear sus kit(adj uppers, solid lowers, anti roll bar)
full exhaust(bbk shorties, somekinda off road h, and magnaflows or slps)
50/50s in back, 70/30s or 90/10s up front
DRs
3.73s
moser axles(so i can launch hard)
75-80 shot
stay SD for now
eventually MAF, and add a S/C

should see a high 12, so long as i launch good.(prob something i forgot to add)

well thats a high 12 w. out the s/c... sc should change that to a low 12 i hope. and in it all,its still gonna be myDD

thanks... its not gonna happen over night... but the suspension should be done by next march(track reopens), and well nitrous might be bought for xmas(still looking into it), w. that and DRs im hoping for that 13.99, lol... on stock 3.08s... just gotta drive it right.
