changed to 5 lug,car all over road
88 gt convertable, changed to 5 lug using lincoln rotors, tires are 275/40/17s,cobra r rims not sure on the width of the rim 9"or10" i guess.the wheels stick out to far in the front in my opinion.i dont know if thats the problem or the tires are to wide for the front but it grabs every rut in the road, when a cop gets behind me im scared they are going to think im drunk.with the orignal wheels it drove great.

[sm=smiley25.gif] are the tires new YES= never mind(no=did you get the rotation the same as it was befor
check pressure on the sidwall then use a digetial gadge to get it correct
Are you sure the ball joint is good
struts up to par ?
tie rod ends good?
rack solid?
check for your self on all these things
it the shop sells tires they might just want to sell sone new tires.
the main thing i am saying is check the entire frount end befor you buy some thing you MIGHT not need
But the tires might be to wide just dont go there first CHECK THINGS CHECK THINGS CHECK THINGS.

+1 Check your entire front end. My mustang used to follow a lot of the grooves in the road. I changed the tie-rod ends and it got better. It still likes to follow the grooves, but different tires act different.
