They say every 100lbs is 1 tenth off your 1/4 mile. How much weight did you take out?

if you don't care about looks, there is so much you can take off. for ex. every piece of insulation on the car, even the tar( the stuff glued to the floor). take out rear seat belts, under carpet insulation, panels, and everything else you dont/wont use...
i probably took of about 250 pound of one of my foxes.( i actually weighed everything i took off)

Take the heater core, ac evaporator and condensor out. Door panels, if you have power windows swap to manual windows. Weld drag lights with skinnies up front and slicks in the rear drops about 50 pounds. Replace the rear hatch glass with a lexan window thats probably around 40-50 pounds. Take front sway bar off is 30 pounds. Take that big heavy metal bumper out from behind the bumper cover is going to drop a good amount of weight. I've never taken the rear bumper off but I'm sure theres one back there too.

iam willing to promise that if you had access to a welder, oxy-torch, a little $$$, no regards to inside apearence, and a little metal fab know how, that you could easily drop 500-750 pounds of crap out of a foxbody that would not effect drivability, handling, or outside apearence. relocate that battery to the rear while your at it.

A/C
Rear seats
All interior panels
All interious carpeting
replace k member
remove front and rear bumber supports
heater core
window wiper fluid
lexan rear window
fiberglass hood/hatch
draglite wheels/ skinnies up front
headliner
run full length heads, x-pipe, and dumped mufflers
snorkel air cleaner if u got one
aluminum heads
remove spare tire/jackstand.

Iam sure you could find so much sh*t to remove its not funny if you aproached the vehicle with the mindset of if it does not help it go, stop, or turn, its got to go.

your gonna want the bumper supports on the street. without it a fender bender turns into a salvaged mustang.
