'87 GT Heater Fan Motor..
This is becoming a pain in the ****.
According to my manual, replacing the heater motor is simple. No such luck. Anyone replaced the heater motor in an 87 and up GT? Do I have to take the dash apart, as it looks??
Any help would be appreciated!

RE: '87 GT Heater Fan Motor..
read well LOL
Get a big bar and the biggest hammer you can find drive the bar in>>>>>> the groung
save the hammer to hit the next person that walks up and ask what you are doing.
The bar is to lean on and look at the stang when you get done
Then
Remove glove box lid then the heater box is held in with I think 3 or 4 small screws
remove them the box will be lose it will take some moving around but it will come out then you can get to the fan motor about 3 hr for a first timer not to bad.
( the glove box is not required but makes it easer I think
