But, your car isn't driven on the street either.

No worries tho, I'll work on suspension and crap later on.

Them's fightin' words there OB![:@] Trailer queens are called that because they are all show and no go! My Stang is no trailer queen, it's a serious racer and don't you be refering to it no mo as a "trailer queen"! It wouldn't take all that much for me to make it track qualifed street legal again and then I would show you what a well set up street car could to to a poser like you! Yes you are young, but paraphrasing Jack Nicholson in "A Few Good Men", YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE POWER! bwahahahahahaha
BTW, at the track today in 95+ degree heat, running only 1/8 mile I clicked off an 8.632 @77.68 mph with a 1.783 60' when it was only 89.8 degrees at 10:51 am and followed that with an 8.729 @ 77.27, an 8.720 @ 77.47 and an 8.705 @ 78.10 @ 4 pm in temps ranging from 94.8 to 99.6 degrees and humidity in the upper 40's IN THE SHADE OF MY TRAILER where I hang my gauge. Unfortunatly I went -.001 red on the last pass so I was done for the day. There's another race tomorrow and I'll post some time slips when I get back.
and parrothead, my reactions times are either very very good or very very bad depending on the day it seems. sometimes I'll average .040's with an occasional .0 teen and then it seems like I go red without any damn good reason at all! Today was a prime example. I dialed a 8.71 in the last round, went red by -.001, and ran an 8.705 which had my opponent covered and if I hadn't gone red, I would have lifted or tapped the brakes at the finish so I wouldn't have broken out either. as they say, that's drag racing!

Oh you know I'm just messin with ya.

But I think after my water pump, I'll get a tubular K member/A arms and coil over kit.
Lighten and strengthen the front a bit.
Maybe even a new lighter swaybar too

ya my pump seezed up and then the rod twisted and broke i all found it out when i took off the pan. So i just replaced it all and got all the gaskets and such. Runs good now but I have to get a new set of oil pres, elect, temp set of gauges. i noticed the oil did not work on time and then i turned on the car after it got tapped and i checked the rod and everything because ahh i was so scared that it went but no it was just bad gauge tryin to scare me. hmm i would not want to do that again. hmm . well peace out for now.

Good to hear you didnt mess up anything. I have still have to check my cylinder walls. My engine stand isn't agreeing with me I can only get 3 of the 4 bolts on. I'll have another go at it tomorrow. I'm getting a free 5 spd for my b-day in 2 days. (sept 2) I'm gonna miss my C4 though. [sm=smiley19.gif]

hmmm well good luck with the tranny. I have to take my car to the transmission man to have hmm take a look at my Reverse gear and 2nd gear. 2nd gear seems to want to grind when you get on it. Then you have the Reverse gear that seems to not go in all the time and i may be going in reverse and then pop and it comes out of gear. Pisses me off everytime but i will have them look at it. Well peace out for now.
