i have a question... i know the solenoid has like 3 prongs basically. One for the kinda screwon ish looking one. and then 2 others for the connections to the battery and to the starter and what not. And then the other prong is used for a grounder? (right?) so my question is do the 2 prongs have like a + and - like a battery or does it matter which one you put the qires onto?

It does matter where they go! I found out the hard way when I put ne batt cables and selenoid in! I had them hooked up backwords and it would take like 2 seconds for the starter to disengage after i let go of the ignition. Ended up puting a new starter in also.

hmm ok so how do u know which one goes where? besides just looking where they were before taking it off?

Probably find a diagram on the web somewhere. Or I could go out and look at mine and tell you!

lol well i think mine is hooked up properly i'm just curious to know if i never needed to do it from scratch or something lol. and how many man things do you guys have hooked to your? i believe i have 4 and one small thing (so 5) things hooked to the one side.
