Ford Racing makes a new block, you have probably heard of the Boss 302? I dont konw if you can get it to accomodate a roller cam though, but i am sure you can. If you didn't know, the boss 302 has 4 bolt mains.

The Boss block won't be released until Spring 2007 although it's already being listed on some sites like Jeg's. The Dart Sportsman is still the better buy.

okay now if i decided to go to a 351 I am confused do a lot of 302 parts interchange. Like I saw a camshaft that said either 5.0/5.8. Most of the parts i see are for 302's I havent seen much for the 351 is that cause there arent or because im looking in the wrong place. When I was going to keep the 302 I knew every part I wanted, now that I am thinking about the 351 I can't find stuff as easy it seems like

yes most of the performance parts swap over.

think of 351 as nothing but a 302 that comes pre-stroked basically

just have to be careful with cams, 302's are mostly hydraulic roller, where 351 is flat tappet
but there are ways around that too.

flywheel and dizzy are differnent
and lower intake manifold.

Oil pan/pick-up is differant as is dizzy and intake manifold.
351W is reall y a 5.0 with a deck that is about .900" taller..
BTW, headers may or may not fit.........
