if you go with the 351, i believe one of the things you will need is a new distributor, Headers and oilpan. Also i belive slight modifications will need to be done to the heads.

if you rebuild the 302, i would definetly go with a stroker, and forged internals, if you are going to do it, do it right...

with the 351w roller i think you can use your dizzy from your 5.0.. also.. i think pretty much everything for a 5.0ho will work on a 351w roller block... dont take my word on it though.. also.. no,you need a bigger cowl hood.. and you will also need 351w swap headers.

the difference is that a 347 is about as far as you can stroke a 302 out to.. with a 351.. i have seen one stroked to a 427.. also.. the stock 5.0 block is only good for about 450rwhp and then you are flirting with disaster anything over that unless your tune is spot on perfict.. the motor will actually split down the middle.. the 351w is good for 600+rwhp easily. much stronger block.

Ok i did some research, and if i get the 351 shortblock on ebay ill need

351 oil pan
new intake for 351
28oz damper and flywheel
spacer for the damper for proper aligment on the crank for pullies
351headers,
swap bracket for the power steering pump and a/c compressor
need hood

I know where to get the hood, oil pan, intake, and i think the headers, but where would i get

the damper and flywheel
the spacer for the damper
the powersteering bracket

But again, the shortblock kit on ebay, does that seem like a good purchase?
