Default aerostar and ranger axles

Im going to the junkyard soon to get some misc parts for a 5lug swap. Im going to probably buy new rotors and get the rest at the junkyard. Im wondering if the the aerostar axle and ranger axle are the same? the axles that are longer, of course. and are the brakes also the same? I'm just wondering since i may have to use one of each. thanks.

Aerostar, Ranger and Bronco 2 axles are the same and all will fit a Mustang. Youll need two drivers side axles.

Im not confused, i think. The axles (not the shafts) on the Ranger and Aerostar are narrower (i think) than a Mustang. Thier center sections are also offset. This is why you need either 2 drivers side shafts from the Ranger, or 2 passenger side shafts from the Aerostar...or 1 Drivers from a Ranger and 1 passengers from the Aerostar.

Still confused?
