Default Smog pump bypass??

Can someone tell me the exact length belt needed to bypass the smog pump?? 90 LX 5.0 with A/C and stock pullies... Will I notice a difference in power?

I dont know the exact size of the belt, i dont know if you can even do it without a delete kit or something. And no, you probably wont notice a difference

go to the parts store and try belts till you find one that fits, I noticed a small power gain and with the pump removed the engine bay looks a lot cleaner

Primetime, how did you route the belt? I always had trouble with the belt rubbing on itself on teh tensioner when i was trying to delete the smog

you need to get a smaller belt so it doesnt rub there, there is another way to route it, ill see if I can find some pictures

I am 99% sure I used a 85.4 belt to bypass the smog. I have since then took off the Power Steering as well as the A/C so I no longer have the belt to check.

If all else fails. Get a string and run it through all of the pullys like you want it. Then measure the string.

i bypassed ac and smog for a while, didn't really notice anything. i put the smog back on, cause the belt rubbed pretty hard :P
