Track heat or Street heat

Track heat or Street heat
Im trying to decide between one or the other. The street head is good from idle to like 5,000, and the track heat is good from 1,500 to like 6,500. so which one?? When your racing you will never be under 1,500 rpms so wouldn't a track heat be better because theres room for improvment??

Well for a daily driver i would definately rocommend the street heat. I have the track heat and you really have to run in the higher rpm's to have any power, but when you get there, it pulls like crazy!

well yea but for a daily driver you wont care if you have alot of power at 1500 rpms. If your getting ready to race your gonna be at like 2500 right?? so the track heat would be good for raccing and give you room to do really got at higher rpms right??

Only reason not to get "track heat" that I can think of would be if you have an automatic transmission. But even then, you may still want it. "Street heat", just means it is a little more restrictive. It is more of a personal preference sort of thing.

if you dont have a cam in your car and have stock heads.. then you are shifting a little high in the rpm range anyways. the cars stop making any usable power around 4800rpm stock anyways. i would say for a daily driver on a stock motor then get the street heat.. any cam or head change get the track heat. JMO though.

ok well when i put the intake on i would also be putting on 1.7 RR #24 injectors 70mm throtle body and getting it chiped and dyno tuned?? so would you say go with track heat??
