Default juiced 331/347

hey guys maybe i can get some answers here, i posted this on corral.and for some reason after about five replies they closed the thread, im startin to hate it over there..everytime i go on it says site busy, or server busy and then i can do anything. that site as well as stangnet has started to go downhill. but neways here it is.

hey guys have a couple questions and im looking for a couple intelligent answers. I have a plan for a 331 or 347 stroker with aliuminum heads and edelbrock upper and lower to be transplanted in to the mustang by the beginning of spring. IM going with a dss kit.block and all.

NOw i have the nitrous, its a edelbrock wet kit. i have already installed a 190 lph fuel pump. and i bought 24 lb injectors when i was staying with a 302 based combo. now that im going stroker will the injecors support my fuel needs or will i need to up the anty to a 30lb setup.

My goal for this build is realistic, im not shooting for anything that i dont think is impractical, tell me what u guys think?

here goes, i would like to run 12.xx on motor, which i dont think is unreasonable with a 347,lentech valvebody and 3000 non lockup converter, with a 31 spline rear and 410s, this will be on mt streets.also rear has a spool.

NOw i want this car to be able to dip in to the 11's , and im not sure what kind of shot it will take to get me there. So im guessing maybe a 50, at the most 75. So to be safe we will say i would never go higher than a 100 shot. NOw will my fuel setup mentioned support that?

thanks in advance.

i got u on this one haha,

ok i have a similar build i went with a 302 block .30 over with a chp stroker to 331 with trickflow intake, RHS heads, all forged, but only on a 150 shot at 10.5:1 compression, 24lb injector 250lph fuelpump, adjustable pressure regulator

you should have plenty of fuel, and your times are easily do able, im running a 13.6 all motor in colorado with stock suspension and a 3.73 gear ratio, on a stock tune, i do know of a guy with nearly the exact same motor but with the 347 stroker running a 12.6 all motor and with the 150 shot hitting 10.5 fastest time so far. so as for shot size i would guess 50-75 would be about right for an 11.x depending on where u live of course at sea lvl u can take quite a bit of time off of our 1/4 mile.

that sounds great, im racing a atco raceway in new jersey, maybe englishtown, so sea level doesnt affect my times. IM going for more of a time that a horsepower number,

I guess maybe 330 at the wheels, being stroked and an auto witha stall is that realistic?
and maybe 400 at the wheels with, say a 75 shot?

it all depends on your setup ive seen 331 strokers put anywhere from 290-500+ if u have 100% efficiency on a n/a 331 stroker u will put out 1hp per cubic inch at sea lvl, but to achieve this efficiency u need to upgrade all the supporting mods for induction and exhaust both

My 347 with afr 185 heads, Comp cams HE274XR fully ported gt40 lower comp cams polymer box upper went 12.8 at 111. that's with a slipping KB clutch and street tires. With tires and a CF Dual Friction it should be in the high elevens...

this is a street car, so its not gonna b gutted and reced everyday. It has a built 8.8 witha spool, girdle and welded tubes. 31 spline axles.no emissions stuff, but it will maintain a/c and power steering. tubular k member and coil overs
