Default Swishing sound Help

I have this annoying sound that comes from my stang only while driving... It sounds like something is rubbing and just a swish swish sound comes from where I thought was the drivers side wheel well. I found that my drivers side rotor was warped and needed to be replaced so I did so and also replaced the bearings... BUT I found out while doing this that the rotors that were installed on my car were for the 2.3 motor not the 5.0?!?! I dont know why this would be because you have to change the spindle out to install these smaller rotors. I checked to see if my tire could be rubbing on the fender well but the tires are clear in the well and there is no evidence of rubbing anywhere in the wheel well so I dont think this is the problem. I also have a fan that has a crack on it but the sound should be constant as long as the engine is running and the sound only comes when its moving. My belt is almost brand new so I dont think that is making the sound but just to be safe i sprayed all my pullys with WD40 to see if the sound would go away to no avail. If anyone else can come up with anyplace else I could check it would be much appreciated.

I was thinkin your wheel rubbing slightly, but alot of people only get that when turning.....And a warped rotor shouldnt make noise, unless its REALLY warped and hitting the pad, but you'd definatly be feeling that too.

that swish swish sound is more than likely the backing plate for your brakes, hitting the rotor.
